Wow. This feels sort of lame. I mean, all the active members and moderators, and all our new members get scared away or just dont participate. I think I'm one of those few rookies who decided to ask questions, and as a result got accustomed to the rules and regs. of the RPG.
We need more people. Now.
And I saw Saving Private Ryan on TV last night. Really really really really good.

Agreed. We do need more members.
And Saving Private Ryan was on TV? I wonder how badly they cut it up?

Since my state is more conservative than liberal, they didn't even attempt to show the movie. ABC had a contractual obligation to show it uncut, but the local network wouldnt do it because it felt it was too graphic for public TV. The same reason NYPD Blue wasnt shown much in my state, because it was thought of as too racy by the FCC here.
Anyways, I'm getting about two to three applicants a day, I just need to get to them and post them/approve them. Reworking the new email system will allow me to restore admissions power to Enoch, if im lucky.

And Saving Private Ryan was on TV? I wonder how badly they cut it up? It was completely uncut. It had this huge warning saying something like: WARNING, THIS MOVIE IS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC, AND IS NOT FOR LITTLE CHILDREN. THIS MOVIE HAS NOT BEEN CUT OR EDITED AT ALL. And then they had some disclaimers like: If your child comes out a nut job because they watched this, it's your fault, so get them out of the room. So yeah, it was uncut. And it was awesome. It was showing ... I think thursday night from about 8:30 to 11:30. The only thing that pissed me the hell off was all the commericals. They put them in during parts when people were only talking, so that they didn't stop a battle to let you see dish washing detergent or barbie ads.
