Gabriel's eyes shot open as he awoke from his bout of unconsciousness. He looked around and quickly realized where he had been evacuated to; a medical room. He glanced at a man peering outside of the door, and realized it was Masato.
"Nishikawa...where the hell are we?"
Masato turned around and was shocked that Gabriel was conscious.
"Holy shit! We're four corridors lateral to the Command Deck. The gunfight is still raging. A little while ago I heard a series of explosions from a level or two above-I believe there are others already inside other than Osiris."
Gabriel shook his head, then looked over at Aimee. She was sleeping peacefully and seemingly without disturbance. He began to pull himself up; he knew he had to get back to the battle in progress.
"We have to get to the MP Artillery Locker and reload. We need some explosives as well as something capable of mowing down the enemy..."
He jumped to his feet and walked quickly towards the door. As he moved into the hallway he ensured Masato was out of the room, and locked the door behind them.
"I'll be back for you, Aimee..."
He began walking down the hallway just adjacent to the medical room. In a matter of minutes and specific shortcuts to the MP locker, the two men reached their destination. Gabriel tapped in the access code and the door flew open. Glancing to his left and right as he moved into the chamber he could see rows of heavy artillery-M249 SAWs and .30 cal machine cannons were only two of the many assorted types. After searching for a moment Gabriel saw the perfect tool for the job-a .30 calibre portable and mountable vulcan gatling gun.
"Oh man, that is what we need," said Masato.
"Definitely," Gabriel returned. "Do me a favor and load twelve boxes of thirty cal rounds, three boxes of .50 cal Desert Eagle rounds, and three boxes of M4 magazines on an ammo cart."
Masato walked off and did as he was told.
"We're going to need this. Soon we are going to be highly outnumbered."
Approximately five minutes later the ammunition was retrieved, and Masato quickly came wheeling by. Gabriel had already loaded a vulcan onto a separate cart. Time was passing by quickly, and both men knew that if they did not hurry then the battle of the Command Deck would be as good as lost. Upon closing the ammo locker they sped down the hallway in the direction of the Emergency Exit of the Command Center. And only moments later they reached their destination. Gabriel loaded his M4 and pulled the bolt back in the receiver to cock the weapon. He aimed his weapon at the door, ready to kill any enemy who would attempt to rush at him. Masato took the liberty of entering the access code, and almost instantaneously the door pulled open. The scene was not much different from when Gabriel last saw the place, bullets still buzzing overhead. A quick flanking movement and both he and Masato, both rolling in the carts of ammunition and weapons they had borrowed to a niche on the port side of the room. Gabriel met up with the MP commander, and spoke to him about the current situation.
"Commander Fox, I don't know how much longer we can hold out. They keep on coming, and if we can't stop them soon I'm afraid we will have to evac."
"We're not evacuating shit! Give them everything you got! I brought a vulcan with plenty of ammunition at our disposal; the fight will get a little easier for us."
Suddenly, the sound of Osiris men attempting to rush in went dead silent. Gabriel knew that the bulk of the invading enemy was about to make itself known.
"Get your men fortified around this area! I want every round fired but not wasted, every incendiary device thrown. What you've seen was only the beginning. They're coming..."
Gabriel moved back and took the vulcan off of its cart. He quickly mounted it to the floor and loaded it with a belt of thirty cal ammunition, then slapped the bolt and loaded it.
All of a sudden, and as if on cue, the bulk of the Osiris forces inside of Alameda began rushing forward. Gabriel opened fire. The fast rotating barrel of the gatling gun spewed out a barrage of bullets at a rate near 3000 rounds per minute. Rounds tore through the bodies of the Osiris men. Some lost their arms, some lost their legs, and others just plain lost their lives. Blood splattered on the walls like a coat of paint.
Gabriel paused his fire, and the MP commander ordered his men to assault forward and eliminate all remaining enemy troops. Gabriel put Masato in command of the vulcan and pulled his M4 to his shoulder, aimed and ready, and he rushed forward as well...
Five minutes passed and the battle was over. Masato looked forward to see that smoke covered all sight of the end of the corridor, and of the outcome of the battle. He could see a silhouette coming slowly toward him, and prepared to fire-but quickly realized that it was Gabriel. The man wasn't injured too bad; he emerged with only minor gashes and bruises from the somewhat intense gunfight that had just taken place.
"You allright?"
"Hell yeah. Go get some medical supplies; we have a few MPs who need help."
"Yes sir!"
Masato rushed back through the emergency exit to get what was needed. In the meantime, Gabriel made his way back to the site of the final assault. Bodies of Osiris troops lie everywhere, along with several bodies of the Alameda Military Police force. It was a sickening sight.
As Masato returned, Gabriel headed back into the Command Center to view the damage to the room's electronic devices. Luckily all vital computer terminals were still intact and functioning. Gabriel sat down next to his uncle, who had just placed his gun back in its holster. Gabriel laid his M4 on the ground beside him, and glanced at the viewscreens that broadcasted data from the various surveillance units around and inside of the compound.
"What a damn day, right Unc? What a damn day..."
"You said that right. I think I need a vacation."

(Silas)
the silence was broken with the sound of more gunfire down the hallway, out of site from the command center. The sound of the assault rifle used by the Osiris forces was the only weapon echoing through the hallways. From a distance it seemed like a one sided battle.
The gunfire stopped, and more footsteps were heading towards the commander center at full speed. Every so often more gunshots were heard, but they were firing in the opposite direction.
Gabe saw the body of an Osiris soldier fly around the corner and smash into the wall, crushing his bones and killing him instantly. Soldiers were yelling, and body parts were tossed around and soldiers were smashed like insects. The upper torso of a man splattered against the wall opposite the corner, and loud metalic footsteps were heard.
The rest of the soldiers ran around the corner, still firing down the hall, away from gabe and the others. Masato fired the gatling gun, while Gabe aimed more precisely with his assault rifle.
The firing stopped, all of the enemy soldiers were mince meat. The firefight had ended. Loud, metalic footsteps were heard around the corner, coming closer.
A middle mobile suit walked around the corner and rose his hands up. The Midnight faction forces aimed their guns at it.
"I had to do it the hard way", Silas whispered over the radio. It was apparant that he was having trouble breathing. "This is Silas..."
"Silas, where have you been?" Gabe and the others were realieved that this was not their adversary. They lowered their guns.
"I ran out of ammo, so my bot's arms are all i had left. I can't run in this hallway. Is everyone okay?"
Silas opened up the cockpit in the front. He was a bloody mess. He had been hit in the left torso by an armor peircing round from a large caliber gun. It left a dime sized hole straight through him, puncturing his lungs and leaving him without the use of his left arm.
"Shit! are you allright?" one of the Na soldiers came up to silas. He had a Red cross on his helmet and uniform.
"Its not mortal, I'll make it" Silas grimaced with every word spoken. "The Shinter forces have penetrated the main complex. We've got to stop them."
Silas was helped into the command center by one of the remaining guards. "Everyones here now. We should be allright" Silas raised his head and looked around. "Where's Enoch?"
The commander heard the news over the radio. There were no more signals coming from the division stationed in the west hangar. They were last fighting the Kunstliches Herz. Many of the remaining MKII gundams stationed in the main complex and east hangar were also destroyed. He got a call from a gundam in the main complex.
'The enemies appear to be composed of Zakus and Slades, the officer units are unidentified MS! One's a variant of a Tallgeese and the other carries dragon arms and a beam trident! There was also a tank mobile armor and some of the MKII's were fighting against us! Im sorry sir, We dont stand a chance, most of our unit was wiped out. Right now the attack has calmed down, one of the enemy leader MS is down. They don't appear to be advancing.'

"Division Three giving its status report; we are all clear sir!"
"Division Four here, all clear as well!"
Hector stopped in his tracks to make sure he heard them right. "Could you repeat what you just said?!"
"Sir! They're retreating!"
"What?! Damn good to hear that, soldier!"
The roars of Midnight Faction men echoed over the general comlink channel the momen they heard the message. They had finally succeeded in pushing the Osiris onslaught back, and making them retreat into the distance. Gunshots were fired skyward due to the victory and could be heard in the background as well.
"Job well done, men. Hooyah."
Suddenly, Gabriel's voice could be heard over the general comlink. He was bringing good news, and bad news.
"This is your commander. We have retaken the Command Center, and have repelled every Osiris man who has tried to make his last stand here. I am proud of each and every one of you, and I'm damn proud of your accomplishment on the battlefield. You have repelled the bulk of the rebel forces, and preserved our existence in this base for one more day. But it is not over. I know you are tired and hungry, but if we do not take care of the situation at hand I feel that Alameda may still fall. Half of Division Two has been wiped out, and I am not sure how long the other half will survive. I am calling upon every one of you valiant warriors to help them; I want you to show the Shinter that we are not afraid! Make the KH suffer long past their deaths! Make history here, and show everyone that you are single handedly the most powerful army in existence!"
The men's cheers echoed over the intercom. Gabriel then cut his transmission so that it could only be heard now by Hector.
"Ramirez, get these men ready to move inside ASAP. Get in position to flood every possible point of entry, and smoke them out. Make sure that NO ONE rushes blindly, and use the best possible strategy for the job. The Shinter has Slades and Zakus, and the KH has Zakus alone. I'm leaving it up to you!"
"Aye sir! Hooyah, Commander!"
Hector sent a broadcast over the general comlink, announcing the plans.
"All divisions, arm yourselves with all remaining ammunition at your disposal, and move into position at all gates. Einhänder divisions, I want you to bomb any enemy suits you see in there to hell. After the Einhänder move forward with their strike, I want Division commanders to take charge and move in when the time is right. But assure that you all strike at the same exact time and from every side, and frequently take cover when not firing at the enemy. But I want not one man to move until I give you the command to do so. Understood?"
Every man replied with an eager "Yes Sir" as a reply. They did as were ordered, and began to move into position.
"Mobile Armors: I want you to keep the perimeter secure. Make sure that the Osiris doesn't decide to attack again."

Gabriel loaded a new magazine into his M4 just in case anyone else from Osiris decided to show up. He walked over to the radio console nearby and shouted a message over the general comlink for all NA suits.
"Just in case this was not heard earlier, we have retaken control of the command center. Any remaining Nocturne Alliance suits within the vicinity of the Command Deck level, I need you to converge on our position and provide perimeter security."
Gabriel cut off his transmission and walked over to talk to his uncle. Over the course of ten minutes the remaining MPs had retrieved several more vulcans and stationed themselves strategically in the vicinity of the Command Center. Some men went through the rear hallways and positioned a vulcan or two just adjacent to the medical center, while others guarded all entrances and exits to and from the Command Center. The Commandant stood behind the long desk that was situated in the central part of the room with a serious look upon his face. He knew that in order to fully regain control of Alameda, both the KH and Shinter must be driven out at all costs.
"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. Winston Churchill, November 10, 1942."
Gabriel smirked slightly. He knew the truth in his Uncle's words.
"We will win, I assure you that. As long as there is a sign of breath in each of our soldiers' bodies, they will fight. It's their nature. Honor is on the line above everything."
The Commandant nodded in silence, but understood perfectly what his nephew was stating to him. Gabriel set his M4 on the table beside him and reached for his katana. He unsheathed it in one swift movement, and lifted it high in the light. The blade's perfection could be seen as it shimmered.
"This was custom made for me years back at Hanwei forge. An ancestor of Paul Chen assured me it was the best for my line of work. The handle is wrapped in genuine ray skin, and the tsuba depicts a black dragon. The blade itself is 28 and 1/2 inches and slightly curved, with a longer handle ensuring awesome cutting power."
The Commandant smirked. "What does that engraved lettering near the tsuba mean?"
"It is kanji and translates into the romaji word Kurotatsu, or Black Dragon. I was given that name when I learned how to use this sword. The man I trained with was a grandmaster of Ninjutsu, but had also studied for many years the fighting techniques of the old Samurai. I guess you could say he took what he knew and added onto it, eventually combining the strengths of both arts and none of their weaknesses. He said that after each time we trained together, he could see the wrath of a dragon within me just waiting to be released."
"Did he have any other students?"
"Only one other. Hector Ramirez. He doesn't talk about it too much, but he trained right alonside me. When not working with real katanas we trained with white oak bokken. And we trained everywhere; on street corners when not in the dojo, in the woods, anywhere that we saw fit. We still practice sporadically once in a while, with the fellas taking bets on who would win."
"Wow, I didn't even know that about Hector. He never mentioned anything about that to me."
"He's more reserved than I, and in my opinion stays too humble for his own good. Still, he's a good man."
Gabriel slowly sheathed the katana and picked his M4 up again. He took a seat atop a nearby desk.

Leo groaned softly as he woke up amid the sounds of screaming and gunfire. He could still feel the tremendous heat from the fires that raged all around. Very carefully he turned his head to look at his surroundings.
Once his head was turned he froze, right there in front of him were the NA defender mobile suits and Zakus, whose they were was anyone's guess. If not for the fires and the fact that the two groups were in the midst of a firefight, he'd have been spotted and most likely killed by now. Despite this fact Leo still took care to move slowly as he stood up. The door he was near before was blown open, and it was still burning red hot. And now he had to go running though it, AND a mobile suit battle.
"Why did I even get up this morning,” he softly muttered to himself.
Having uttered such famous last words, he darted towards his destination. Getting over the still red-hot edges of the door was easy; all Leo had to do was jump. But passing through the battle would prove to be tough. He begins to think of the possibility of pressing up against the edge of the tunnel wall.
A Zaku started firing down the tunnel when the MF forces stopped. He was soon hit by a round in the left arm that blew straight through the motor, causing the limb to melt off and fall towards the ground. The suit's machine gun fired at the same time, raking up the body of a distant and exposed Mk III. The trail of bullets reached the head, tearing off the left side. The MF Gundams close behind their freshly split comrade began firing back. The rate of fire was slow, but effective-causing substantial damage to another KH suit.
After abandoning any idea of clinging to the wall and cautiously sneaking across the place, Leo decided to come up with an alternative. He was troubled by thought, rationalizing the truth about the situation ahead of him. Going slow would only get him killed, but running head-long into the tunnel would probably kill him also. Shaking his head he ran on, ducking as bullet shell casings rained down.
Meanwhile another Zaku was hit, primarily in its left leg. The knee fell apart and the suit fell down, right in front of Leo. The head crashed only a few feet from him. The way back had now been cut off. The mech's red eye lit up, noticing Leo as he passed by. But Leo hardly noticed this fact, for he was busy sprinting his ass off. Running in here was like running through a forest of falling trees; you don't stop and look around every time you hear something crash to the ground. Otherwise you'll end up dead. So far he'd made it past the Zakus without getting stepped on or crushed under shell casings. He panted hard as he ran toward the NA mobile suits. One of them fell down in pieces from a barrage of gunfire.
The suit's left arm came down, falling toward Leo. He ran on but saw that he couldn't get out from under it in time. He dove forward and hit the ground, covering his head as the arm and hand fell on him. Soon after, he opened one eye and looked around, the hand had fallen in such a way that the palm was open, the fingers supporting its weight for a moment and leaving a pocket underneath in which Leo now lay.
"Holy shit..."
Another Gundam was ripped apart by a volley of gunfire; a majority of the shots placed lateral along the suit's midsection.
Division soldier: "Sir, they're tough as nails! We're doing nothing but going back and forth!"
The Zakus fell back, and were no longer seen. Another comrade had fallen in front of them. They had to regroup and plan another strategy, for this plan of "one to one" fighting wasn’t working.
"Use grenades! Blow them out of the hole!" the Zakus heard the command from their team leader; Günter, and took out grenades.
The pilot nearest Mk. III to the wreckage of his downed NA comrade noticed the scene ahead of him. "That's strange," he thought. "The hell?"
Leo quickly pulled himself out from under the Gundam hand, taking in deep breaths and not quite believing his good luck. Then he froze, it had gone quiet. He didn't even look up; every alarm in his head went off and screamed at him...
RUN YOU FOOL!!!! And he did, faster than he ever did before. He tore down the tunnel, leaping over bits of debris and hot shell casings. For a few moments he was making the only noise in the place; but it didn't matter-in a few moments he'd be clear of the battle zone. If he could just reach the door he would be safe! He stumbled once and slid to a halt roughly ten feet from the door. Pulling himself up, he took off before he was upright and flung himself through the door...

A hand from a Zaku went around the corner, and the MF forces tried to shoot it since it was the only thing moving. The hand released a grenade as a few more bounced around the corner. The first grenade flew straight towards the MKIII's and landed in front of the fallen comrade. The body of the fallen Zaku was facing down. It was well armored, so it was safe. There was no telling if the pilot was still alive anyway. The other grenades bounced around, impossible to intercept.
The remaining MKIII's knew they had to do whatever possible to take cover. The commander called the infamous 'fire in the hole' and 'retreat' commands so as to save the lives of the rest of his crew.
Leo panted as he stood up and rested his hands on his knees to catch his breath. He was safe, right? He risked a glance backward and saw the Gundams doing the duck and cover. Frantically he hit the door controls to save himself a lot of pain. The door started to slide shut, but he didn't wait. He started running hard again. Even after he heard the loud thud of the door being shut then sealed, he didn't stop.
The explosions filled the hallway with fire and dust; it became hard to see anything. Thermal sensors were pretty much overwhelmed with heat sources, the suits were running blind. The Zakus rushed forward in a makeshift tri-stream attack, with 3 suits following each other in a line. They bent forward, using their rockets in the narrow hallway. They flew down with incredible speed, flying into the smoke, not knowing what they would run into. The lead Zaku smashed into the front MKIII, crushing its body with its shoulder shield.
Even as far back as Leo was he could still feel the massive explosion shake the floor under him. He lost his balance for a moment but kept on going; he had to get out of there and find something to fight with. Even a Ball would do. After a few minutes more he found himself in a large hanger that was largely empty. The only thing in it was an unknown mobile suit that he could barely make out since the lights were off. After another minute of searching Leo found the light switch and flipped it on. And before him stood a Gundam he'd never seen before; it was mostly blue and white, with a pair of wings. On it's left hip was a bell shape which he figured to be a beam weapon of some sort and of all things an enormous Gatling gun attached to it's right arm. No one was around, but why was the Gundam just sitting in here? Was it broken?
"Any weapon is better than none I suppose...."
He paid little heed to the crates strewn about, it wasn't important because those Zakus would get through that door sooner or later and he'd be damned if he'd let them find him in there unarmed.
All mobile suits were put into a sort of dock when not in use so that a pilot could get into them easily, this Gundam was no exception. Leo began to climb the ladder to it's dock as fast as he could, then moved to the very small catwalk and after a few moments climbed into the cockpit and strapped himself in. He looked for the controls and blinked, the set up was different then he expected. But it was somehow familiar to him, like it was designed for him or something.
"That's strange..." He shook his head and searched for the button to close the hatch.
Suddenly, the door to the hangar blew open. Parts of MKIII's flew out as smoke from the explosion covered the west side of the hangar. The Zakus fired inside, sweeping the guns side to side, not particularly aiming at anything. The gunfire was random and probably meant to make anyone inside duck for cover. A number of empty crates were damaged or blown apart, But the Gundam wasn't touched by some stroke of luck. Leo didn't move a muscle.
The Zakus were waiting for the smoke to clear; they wouldn’t rush into a room without knowing what was inside. They kept scanning the area for any hostiles. "Thermal sensors, nothing, no visuals yet, radar is out because of interference, but its coming back, and the Minovsky scan doesn't detect anything."
Was this luck again? No, luck had nothing to do with this. Those Zakus didn't shoot because they didn't know he was there since he hadn't done anything. Bringing the suit online might very well get him killed; like he could perform this action anyway. He hadn't even figured out how to close the damn hatch yet! He kept searching for a button or switch but still couldn't find what he was looking for. So this strange Gundam just stood there, like it was abandoned, and appeared as if no one were in it at all.
The smoke was clearing up a little now, and the outline of a standing mobile suit was seen through the smoke.

"Damn it, where's the freakin' button?!?!"
Leo pounded the controls on the arm rest of the pilot's seat in frustration and stopped. The suit moved slightly, it seemed that the dock it was in was damaged after all.
"It’s moving! Waist it!" The Zaku moved a little, and another came through the opening. There were now two able to open fire. The Zakus raised their machine guns.
The docking clamps of the Gundam released and the mech fell forward, hitting the floor with a loud crash. From the way it was sprawled either no one was inside or it was damaged when the Zakus fired and now didn't work.
"What the hell?" yelled the lead Zaku pilot as he saw this event occur. "Who cares, its a Nazarene, take it out!" The Zakus aimed their guns as another came out of the entrance, making three out in the open. It was carrying a Panzer Faust on its leg. "Ill take it!"
At least the hatch had banged shut from the impact. Leo was about to start grumbling when he felt something; somehow he knew that three Zakus were about to fire at him. His Newtype abilities were helping him again.
"Some help though, this suit isn't even on yet..." And then the suit turned on, the reactor ran power though all its systems, the computer came on and a message flickered instantaneously on the screen.
HALO Psychommu Gundam Operating System VER 3.32 BIOS Revision 13.4
Initializing... ... ... Loading Pilot Data...100% Loading System Interface Data...100% Loading Stored Battle Data...100% Defenses...100% Thruster Components...100% Armaments...100% Loading BIOS Settings...100% BIOS Initialization Complete. Welcome, Leo Cana.
Leo blinked. This was his HALO? It had to be, it recognized him the instant it finished loading itself.
Silas's computer beeped inside his gunner. It showed the status of Leo's Gundam. "So it worked."
Leo kept looking over the controls, now wondering how to get his mech moving. He was quickly alerted by the system's proximity alarms-the Zakus that had blown their way into the room were aiming their guns at him. He then peered to his left to see a status screen highlighting the defense systems of the suit that were autonomously readying themselves for deployment...
"Planet defensors?"
The instant he finished stating these words a computerized female voice repeated, "Planet Defensor System Enabled. Deploying..."
Four planet defensors sprouted from the wings and moved into position; activating their shields in front of the Gundam as soon as the Zakus fired.
"Okay, lets see how to work this thing..."
The machine gun fire bounced off of the energy shield as if the bullets were made of paper. The Gundam lay unharmed on the ground, laying flat on its face.
"That's an energy shield! We cant hurt it!" the Zakus were deliberating on what to do.
"I got it. Ramirez, blast it with the panzer faust when the shield is down. Ill go in." The Zaku put his machine gun down the middle of his back, and put his puncher fist shield in his right arm. Along with his shoulder shield, his right side was completely armored.
"AAAHHH!!!" The Zaku flew forward with its boosters and slammed into the energy shield, but the energy couldn’t hold back all of that mass, and the Zaku broke through, burning his shoulder armor down halfway.
"Take this!" the Zaku used the puncher fist and stabbed into the Gundam’s right wing, damaging it badly with the spikes and from the impact.
Leo cursed to himself as he viewed the damage indicated by his starboard status screen. "Damn, gotta get this thing moving..."
The Zaku struggled to get up, but its right shoulder was jammed.

Leo looked frantically around the cockpit to find a way to get the Gundam on its feet. But nothing was really clicking.
The Zaku raised his gun with his still functional elbow, and aimed at the Gundam's head.
"Die you bastard!"
The targeting sensor turned red as the reticule matched up with it.
"Shit... Damn it, think!" Leo almost wanted to pull his hair out. He couldn't get the Gundam to get up and fight, the only reason it responded the first time was because he'd thought about defending himself...... "Wait....that's it!" He closed his eyes and took a breath, his mind cleared and suddenly he felt the Gundam respond. Almost as fast as he thought it, the Gundam started to raise itself to a kneel. While this happened the left hand grabbed the hilt of the beam rapier on it's left side and pulled it out, then spun it into the air. The left hand then reached out and grabbed the hilt, stopping it midspin and switched it on.
The Gundam's left hand pulled back towards the right as the Gundam came to a kneel and pulled a backhand slash that neatly took the Zakus head from it's shoulders. At the same time the Zaku had fired, the bullets hitting the armor on the left shin rather than the head. The Gundam dropped the beam rapier, still switched on and reached out with it's left hand to pick up the headless Zaku. Together they rose, the Gundam using the slightly larger Zaku as a shield.
Leo smiled. "So this machine seems to have been made for Newtypes...... Well every Gundam must have a name...and there is only one name I can think of right now..." The massive beam chain gun was raised and aimed precisely.
"Caligo."
The barrels began to rotate and then fired a massive barrage of firepower at the other two Zakus. They fired back at the site of their downed comrade, the bullets flying into his suit's body. The Caligo's rounds shredded the left Zaku into Swiss cheese, and its gun fired in random directions. The room was filling with a faint, dark grey smoke from the gigantic rounds burning.
The Zaku's reactor blew out beams of energy and burned the walls around it. Its shredded parts scattered around the hangar like tin foil.
"Now, Ramirez!" The pilot of the blinded Zaku was still alive, his suit wasn’t completely destroyed yet.
"I'll waste you to hell!" The right Zaku fired his Panzer faust at the exposed chain gun.
Warning lights went off as the panzer faust fired. Leo acted almost without thought, the chain gun stopped firing as the Gundam turned slightly and then threw the beheaded Zaku forward. As he had hoped the body of the Zaku took the hit for him and exploded. But unexpectedly the Zaku exploded too close for comfort, knocking the Caligo back against the wall. Leo shook his head after the impact and raised the chain gun to fire, when a small screen off to the right lit up. The Plasma had shot through the Zaku and melted the chaingun after all, and now it was useless. Quickly the Gundam stooped down and picked up it's beam rapier and did the only thing it could do. It's boosters kicked on and the Gundam fled.
The other Zakus peered out of the tunnel, their teammates in pieces in front of them. They weren’t going to venture out until they made sure no one else was in the room.
Leo cursed himself mentally, how could he have done something so stupid?! "Damnit, damnit, damnit!!" The Gundam flew down the other tunnel in the hanger on the South side. A stray thought of keeping hidden from the Zakus crossed Leo's mind before he crushed it. In response the Gundam activated it's stealth mode, now completely invisible to radar. "Ok.....so I've escaped and I'm running in stealth. Now what do I do? Hmmm.......well I'd better find Gabe." After a moment of thought Leo nodded. "Gabe would be in the command center and that's where I need to be."
The Caligo opened a voice mail message sent from Gabe a few minutes before.
"This is Gabe, The command center is under attack from Osiris forces, we need all available soldiers there now."
The tunnel connecting the south hangar had all of its doors shut off behind Leo, as if someone knew he was in there.
Thus far on it's trip toward the command center, the Gundam flew unchallenged. Largely due to the fact that he was running with stealth active. The doors had closed behind him when he left the hanger, but Leo didn't question it. He didn't have time, he just kept moving. Leo pulled the Gundam to a halt, landing on the ground as quietly as a mobile suit could. He was near the command center and he couldn't get inside with a Gundam. Quickly he moved the machine into a corner away from any battle, put it into a kneeling position and then shut it down.
Leo had been down the tunnel leading to the command center before, when he first landed here.
